Corporate towers and curtain-wall glass
Curtain-wall glass, aluminium framing and coated spandrel panels are cleaned with purified RO and DI water at controlled pressure, so the finish dries without streaks and frames are not stressed.

Sandton
Sandton towers collect pollution film, brake dust and construction residue on glass that has to look right every working day. SKAI cleans facades and windows from the air, without scaffolding, cradles or rope teams on the building.

Diesel, brake dust and construction fallout bond to glass in a busy business district. Rain redistributes the film instead of removing it. The cleaning cycle is set by how the glass reads from street level, not by the calendar.
No scaffolding means no street occupation, no permits for hoarding and no blocked entrances. Phases are scheduled around business hours, deliveries and building services, with the flight plan agreed with facilities management.
Tower roofs carry plant, antennas and solar. Cleaning is planned around equipment footprints and access restrictions, and arrays are cleaned without foot traffic on the modules.
Questions
In most cases yes. Drone access removes the scaffold and cradle footprint, so there is normally no road closure and no long occupation of the pavement.
Phases can be scheduled early, late or over a weekend where the building prefers it. Flight windows still depend on light, wind and airspace.
For large glass areas cleaned regularly, drone access usually wins on setup time and disruption. Where a surface needs hand detailing, rope access can still be the better tool, and we will say so.
