Watch: 100 m ascent
Glass tower facade, cleaned from the air.
A tethered drone climbing a high-rise curtain wall and washing the glass with purified water, pressure controlled from the ground.
What you are looking at
The drone lifts the cleaning head up the face of the building while water, pressure and chemistry are managed from the trailer at ground level. Nothing is scaffolded, nobody works on a rope, and the pavement stays open.
The clip is unedited site footage: the ascent, the spray pattern and the run-off on the glass. It is the same method used on curtain-wall glass, aluminium framing and coated spandrel panels.
Key details
- Height shown: 100 m, tethered flight
